Municipal Historical Museum - Ivaylovgrad was officially opened on June 30, 2009. The three expositions - "Archeology", "History of the town and the area before the Liberation" and "History after 1878" are arranged in the newly opened building of the Historical Museum, where can be seen ceramic vessels from the ancient villa Armira, coins, parts from a Thracian funeral chariot and from the excavations of the mound near the village of Svirachi, artifacts from the fortress of Lyutitsa.
