Turkish : Şeyh Nasir.

Kurdish : Shêx Nasir.

Taken over by YPG-SDF on 14 November 2016 after ISIS retreated.

One week after YPG-SDF takeover,
the village was finally freed
by TR and TR Backed Opposition Forces (Watan Army),
from YPG-SDF militants on 21 November 2016.

Following the capture,
YPG-SDF made a counter-offensive and infiltrated inside the village.
After intense clashes though,
all the assaults by YPG-SDF militants were repelled on November 23.

The village since then,
has been under control of TR Army & TR Backed Opposition Forces (Watan Army).

Moreover,
TR Army set up a forward operating base nearby,
to secure the area around Sheikh Nasir village.
