Concrete-hulled ship built in 1919 and used as an oil tanker in the Gulf of Mexico.
After striking a jetty and cracking its hull in Tampico, Florida in 1920, the ship was scuttled northwest of the fishing pier at Seawolf Park.
The Selma has been recognized with a Texas Historical Commission’s Official Texas Historical Marker and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
