The Badger was the 20th member of the Knox Class of Frigates and served from 1970 to 1991 based out of Pearl Harbor.
Following her decommissioning she was placed into the Reserve Fleet at Pearl Harbor until July 21st 1998 when she was sunk as a target at this location during RIMPAC 98.
