The Thames Path National Trail has an optional route along the Chertsey bank east of the town; across 18th century, stone, high-category listed Chertsey Bridge is the main Thames Path and numerous leisure and accommodation places are found at the Thames near to Chertsey Bridge including Laleham Park, Dumsey Meadow and the two pub-restuarants on either side of the bridge, one of which is a hotel and further hotels are in the centre of the town.
