A city and the county town of Oxfordshire. It is home to the University of Oxford, one of the world's top universities. There are many other colleges and educational buildings. It is located on the River Thames, and is nicknamed as the "city of dreaming spires". Its name comes from 'Ford of Oxen' and residents from Oxford are called 'Oxonians'.

  • The centre and North Oxford is incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, and speaking as someone who works in the city, the rest of it is awful, ugly and in desperate need of development. The traffic infrastructure around the city is completely inadequate for a modern city with such a history of education and learning.
