Dolna Dikanya Reservoir

It is located in the Pernik Region, in the immediate vicinity of the village of Dolna Dikanya, on the western slope of the Verila mountain. It serves mainly to regulate the flow of the Arkata River, to irrigate the agricultural lands in the Radomir valley and for fishing. It harbors caracuda, babushka, redfin, walleye, river mullet, grass carp, carp, perch and walleye. Next to the northern shore of the dam is a separate villa area.
