Gachsaran is a city in the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province province in southwestern Iran. The population of this city comprising the suburb is about 150000. An oil and gas producing city that has just started to expand and profits from its great industrial capacity. The town has the largest gas reserves in Iran.
