USA / New York / Locust Valley / Lattingtown, New York
residence, LIGC - Long Island Gold Coast

"Aberfeldy" was designed by Severance & Schumm c. 1909 in the Federal style for John Anderson {industrialist, financier}. Anderson was the chairman of the board of Charles Pfizer & Co. as well as the director of Union Dime & Savings Co. Bradley Delehanty designed alterations in 1930. Schumm designed a three-part, clapboard Federal residence with a grand portico supported by paired columns. Similarly, the garden facade was given a two-story semicircular porch.

The estate was subsequently owned by Edward Lane Shea who commissioned Frederick Ayer, II with Bradley Delehenty to perform additional alterations in 1938.
