The 18-hole "Creek" course at the The Creek Club facility in Locust Valley, New York features 6,454 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 71.5 and it has a slope rating of 130. Designed by Seth Raynor/Charles B. MacDonald. Robert Stein manages the course as the General Manager. Originally the Paul D. Cravath estate, the Creek Club was laid out over 120 acres beginning in 1922 by Olmsted after Cravath's second home on the site burned down. He would move to Duck Pond Road. The Creek Club opened with only 100 members, including Clarence MacKay, J.P. Morgan Jr., Herbert Pratt and Harry Payne Whitney.
