Hepburn served as a partner in the investment firm of Frederick T. Hepburn & Co., president of H.D. Walbridge & Co. and Pennsylvania Public Service Co., director of Electric Power & Light Corp., United Gas Corp., and Automatic Nut Co. Landscaping was designed by Ellen Biddle Shipman.
Estate was subsequently owned by Edwin D. Herzog {financier} who served as a partner in the investment firm of Lazard, Freres & Co. and is now owned by Julian Robertson, Jr.
