The Kastrakli Lake is located 8 kilometers from Borino in the region of "Kastrakli." The lake is situated in a high mountain valley with an area of 35 decares and a depth of 18 meters. The lake was created by a natural spring at its bottom and the natural relief of the valley and creates a wonderful with the surrounding nature of coziness and relaxation.
to preliminary research by scientists, the “Kastrakli” region is the second place on the planet where in the period from May to July gathers more than half the known species of butterflies.
