"Shiroka Polyana" Reservoir

Shiroka Polyana Reservoir is located in a pine forest at 1,500 m above sea level in the Western Rhodopes. The town of Batak is about 30 km away. The uneven terrain at the bottom of the reservoir creates the illusion that Shiroka Polyana is made up of many small dams with separate walls. The reservoir has a large variety of fish species. An asphalt road leads to the reservoir. There are pleasant campsites near the reservoir.
