Emrick Plastics is a part of the Automotive Components Division of Windsor Mold Group. The 98,000 sq. ft. factory produces injection molded interior and exterior plastic components and assemblies for the automotive industry.

Originally built in 1912 by Canadian Sirocco, a subsidiary of Detroit based American Blower, the plant produced industrial fans for ventilation, drying and dust control. American Blower was acquired by American Standard in 1927 but the name of the Windsor plant remained unchanged until 1957. The plant was closed in 1968 when American Standard exited the fan market.

Between the years 1970 and 1984 the factory was owned by Chrysler and was operated as Chrysler Spring Plant No. 2. In 1984 the Spring Plant was closed and sold to Emrick Plastics.
