Windsor Assembly Plant 3, as of 2004 it was the only remaining Chrysler Plant in Windsor, 1 of 2 in Canada. As of 2019, Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Pacifica minivans are assembled here.
The original 289,000 sq. ft. plant built in 1928 has expanded over time to 4 million sq. ft. and is the largest of Chrysler's assembly plants. Known as Plant 3 (Plant 2 was the former Windsor Engine Plant built in 1938 to the south of the original assembly plant and operated until 1980) the assembly plant was gutted and retooled in 16 weeks in 1983 to produce minivans.
