A sparsely populated neighbourhood of Kaunas, a part of Šilainiai eldership. Main atractions are a monument of IX fort and an old mansion, as well as a huge cemetery, misleadingly called Romainiai cemetery. Otherwise the neighbourhood is mostly forests and fields. Šilainiai road is the only significant street in the neighbourhood. "Via Baltica" highway also goes across the neighbourhood but it is not connected with it in any way.
