A residential neighbourhood in Kaunas city, on the shore of Kaunas Lagoon. On the western part of Petrašiūnai there are several remaining factories, but most of them are abandoned. On the south of the neighbourhood there is Pažaislis monastery ensemble and Kaunas Hydroelectric Power Plant, along with beaches where inhabitants from the eastern Kaunas go in summer.

The main street across the neighbourhood is R.Kalantos street. The neighbourhood is connected with the rest of the city by four trolleybus routes and a single bus route.
