  • Seems at some point glorious Estates of The Gold Coast were becoming wedding halls, museums and country clubs. In recent years people began buying and treating them as private residences. The 7.5 acre estate The Kuvykin Mansion C1902 Warren & Wetmore for Joseph Stevens Kirby Hill Estate was fully restored and is amongst the fe remaining grand structures built by Warren & Wetmore. It is incredible and very special. The artwork and architecture is impeccably preserved.
  • This is by far one of the most beautiful Estates on Long Island. This is a private residence with a full time staff.I was out there last week and the view from the beach is amazing! Everything described above is true and there is so much more that isn't described.
  • The Long Island North Shore also known as the Gold Coast is home to some of the most affluent and influential residences on the planet. The great estates were and still are used for films such as The good Sheppard, Sinister, Wall Street 2 and more.. Just Glorious!
  • It Is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
  • Eric, this post was about Sassafras, and you're grandstanding about your estate and you speak of Kirby Hill like it's not yours. If you really cared about historical value, you would have kept the estates original name instead if being flashy and putting yours in it. I grew up with the Stevens family and lived down the street, and the house was beautiful, and now it's gaudy. What a shame that you don't have the class of the Stevens family. They were wealthy & comfortable, not super rich
