This Publix at Sunset Point and US-19 (the "Sunset 19" shopping center) remained open even with the another Publix (formerly Albertsons) operating a very short distance away. The store, along with its exterior-accessed liquor department was finally "sunsetted" in December 2012, over four years with both Publix stores active.
