Alistrati cave is one of the most beautiful in Greece. It is located not far to the southeast of the village of the same name in the area of Tashlıka (from Turkish taşlık – stone). The latter is today better known by the names Pètroto, Petrotò (Greek: Πετρότω) and Petròtopos (Greek: Πετρότοπος). Literally translated, petrotopos means rocky place.
