A major paper mill in central India, uses Bamboo and hardwood as raw material and produces around 200 tones of writing printing grade paper from virgin fiber. Has batch digester to produce chemical pulp and additional chlorine-di-oxide plant for bleaching. Very large infrastructure, large workmen colony. Draws water from River Sone. Erection started in 1962, production commenced in 1965. Has an operational Tissue paper plant and in process of installing another one. Paper machine was supplied by Beloit USA. Two Coal fired rotograde boilers, one Chemical recovery boiler burning black liquor and one CFBC boiler produce required steam, a 20 MW Westinghouse turbine makes it self power sufficient.
