Dedicated in 1940 the Milles fountain is a beautiful fountain of 19 bronze figures by Carl Milles are used to depict the meeting of the waters, the Missouri and the Mississippi. The two rivers merge just north of the city. The city changed the name to the "Wedding of the Waters".
