Pachlakhi is knowan as the village of versatile Kayasthas and so it is called Lala Ke Pachlakhi.Pachlakhi is one of the villages of Siwan district of Bihar state, India. Pachlakhi town is the administrative headquarters of this Panchayat. Pachlakhi is a part of Siwan district and of Saran Division since 1972. The town is known for its great past especially for Famous Freedom Fighter Phulena Prasad. Pachlakhi has historical and mythological importance attached to it.

Geographical Status:
The global location of Pachlakhi is between 26°18'4"N and 84°18'11"E longitudes.It is situated 1o KM to the district headquarter and 7 KM to another historical place Hathwa.Sujawn is situated at North ,Hasua at west,Mura at South and Kararua at East ,villages are situated besides Pachlakhi.

Population:Approx 5 thousand and Maximum villagers are Hindu.
History:-
It is a historical place.It has produced number of freedom fighters,I.A.S. officers,doctors and Engineers and software developers.
1.Freedom Fighters-
(a).Amar Shahid Phulena Prasad-The great son of Pachlakhi dedicated his whole life for the country and murdered by the Englishmen on 16Aug1942 during Quiet India Movement led by Gandhi jee at Maharajganj of Siwan District.A tower established on that point in his memories.
(b).Virendra Azaad:-Virendra Azaad was an active freedom fighter and he played a pivotal role in establishing Pachlakhi High School and he was the secretary of the school throwout.He convinced the other villagers to donate 32 acres land to the High school.
(c).Tara Sinha:-The wife of late Phulena Prasad was also an active freedom fighter.It is reality that he convince Phulena Prasad to join Indian Freedom struggle.
