  The old Name of Panwari is Pandavpuri because Pandav had come and sattled for somedays when they discarded Hastinapur due to some reasons. Panwari is small beautiful town which is in Dist. Mahoba U.P. Two routes are there one goes towards Mahoba and Second one goes to Jhansi which are connected in Panwari and goes to Rath which comes in Dist. Hamirpur U.P. this is the place which is near M.P State or we can say it is Border between U.P and M.P. Language is Bundelkhandi. So many ancient things are very famous here one is Maa Durga Temple which is near by Main Market and it is the temple which is since Dwaperyug thatsy it is called as Dwaperyugi maa.second one Gadokhar which is Hanuman Mandir in Jhansi route Third one is Gauraiya daai which is in Mahoba route and it is the group of ancient hills and temples fourth one Krishna temple is called as Devalya. There is very big Bell which is Played by Mahant of temple right at 8 P.M. Daily. So this is small brief history about Panwari...
