Rob's apartment from the movie Cloverfield seen in the beginning of the movie. The building is a 5-story structure from 1854, built as a store, three bays wide. It has a white-painted cast-iron ground floor with fluted Corinthian columns and pilasters. The upper floors are clad in tan marble, with round-arched windows on the 2nd floor. The upper floors have stone enframements, with a rounded pediment above the center window on the 3rd floor. A black metal fire escape runs down the right two-thirds of the facade, which is crowned by a green metal roof cornice with a rounded pediment in the center. The neighboring building at No. 506 was built to an identical design, but had its top floors later removed. The ground floor is occupied by a White House/Black Market store.
