Tysons Corner, also known simply as Tysons, is a census-designated place (CDP) and unincorporated community in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. Located in Northern Virginia between the community of McLean and the town of Vienna along the Capital Beltway (I-495), it lies within the Washington Metropolitan Area. Home to two super-regional shopping malls -- Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria--and the corporate headquarters of numerous companies, Tysons is Fairfax County's central business district and a regional commercial center. The population was 19,627 as of the 2010 census.

Tysons Corner is the archetype and largest example of an "edge-city" in the United States. It contains more office space than downtown Atlanta and more retail then any other location between New York City and Miami. The Tysons Corner area population, however, is only about 20,000. This is changing as Fairfax county has decided to concentrate a series of massive condo and apartment building projects in the area.

In the past, residents of Tysons Corner used a McLean (22102) or Vienna (22182) postal address. However, the "Tysons Corner" name has been approved for the ZIP Codes 22102 and 22182.
