Notes: This arsenal was used by the Confederate Army during the Civil War in both the storage and manufacture of ammunition, and was the starting point of the Confederacy\'s Camden Expedition. The Union Army also used the building in the same capacity when they captured Little Rock. Besides its Civil War significance, the arsenal is also notable as the 1880 birthplace of Douglas MacArthur, who would gain fame as a five-star general and one of the foremost military figures in the Pacific Theater of World War II. Today, this is the only remaining building of the original arsenal complex.
