Notes: Jacksonport State Park contains Jackson County's original courthouse, as well as other sites from the town's days as a river port. The courthouse was used as such from 1872 to 1892, when a new one was built in Newport. Today the site is a state park and offers campsites, a playground and a pavilion. The old courthouse now contains a museum.
