Pea Ridge is the site of the biggest Civil War battle fought west of the Mississippi and one of the most important battles of the American Civil War. Pea Ridge is one of the most intact Civil War battlefields in existence. The park consists of 4,300 acres, Elk Horn Tavern, museum, bookstore and a 7 mile - 10 stop tour road, 9 mile horse trail and 7 mile hiking trail. For those that enjoy nature, there are plenty of opportunities to see wildlife, beautiful forestland and a chance to get a way from the pressures of the modern world.

The park is open year round 8-5 daily.
