The park is situated over the old graveyard. Here you can find graves of Veneta Boteva (wife of Hristo Botev), Dobri Voinikov, Koliu Ficheto and other persons from Bulgarian renaissance. In the east side of park near to open air dog walk ground is situated memorial cross in memory of victims killed by communists regime in 1944. Bodies may be buried under the dog walk ground.
