This lovely old building in Vicksburg, MS has not been used as a courthouse for several decades; it is a wonderful museum all about the siege of Vicksburg and a way of life "gone with the wind." It is said that slaves made the bricks for its construction and carried those bricks all the way up the high bluff from the riverfront brickyards to the site where the Old Courthouse sits.
