 amusement ride, roller coaster

Incredicoaster is a roller coaster opened in Summer 2018 in the Pixar Pier area of Disney California Adventure. Incredicoaster is themed to the 2004 film The Incredibles, and features characters from the movie within the ride and station area. The station building is designed in the mid-century modern style. The attraction was rethemed in 2018 from the previous California Screamin' attraction, which opened in 2001 as part of the original California Adventure theme park. The ride layout remains unchanged, with a launch profile, 6,072 feet of track, and a single inversion. Infrastructure changes include the full enclosure of portions of the track and additional lighting to the inside. When California Screamin' first opened, it featured a loop in front of a large fiberglass Mickey Mouse head image, but was replaced by a sun image and "Paradise Pier" text during a refurbishment of the land starting in 2009 before Paradise Pier and California Screamin' closed for more extensive renovations.

  • This ride doesn't belong in a Disney park, because the theming sucks.
  • The lack of theming on the ride was intended because thats exactly what its supposed to be...a rollercoaster. plain and simple.
  • It was a lot of fun when i went on it, my brothers want to go on it
  • Didn't someone die on this ride? Or was that at WDW?
  • I lve this ride and the music too!
  • Thrilling ride and always gives me a headache afterwards. Yes..call me a wimp.
  • This was both of my sons' first upside-down rollercoaster. 12 and 8 years old. Once they rode it once it was all they wanted to ride the rest of our stay. My opinion, Great start, good slow-down in the middle with amazing daytime views, strong finish!
  • They improved it with an Incredibles theme.
