Palamau Fort (old)

This is the historic fort built by Raja Medini (who ruled before the Mughals) on the bank of Auranga River which is a tributary to the north Koel river located further west. Every year around chhath puja a mela is organised around the fort which is attended by a lot of villagers and tourists alike.
