  • The adiacent section of the river is a nice place for birdwatching on passage times. Kinkgishers, redstarts, tits, geese,a few species of ducks and gulls, herons, egrets, coots, kestrels, sparrowkawks. Not to mention a chourus of marsh frogs and a few terrapins.
  • In zona acestui amplasament s-a aflat Institutul Medico_legal "Mina Minovici" sau Morga cum se mai spunea..monument arhitectural, demolat de comunisti.
