Dumraon is an old town (one of the oldest in the municipality of Bihar) in Buxar district in Bihar (pin no. 802119). It is also one of the oldest princely states of India. It is famous for its mats and 'Dari'. Bihariji Ka Mandir , Dumrejani mai ka Mandir & Kaliji Ka Mandir are some very beautiful tourist and religious destinations. Koran Sarai, Mathila, Bagen, Lakhandihra,bhojpur are some of the villages in the region of Dumraon.

    my birth place is dumraon.it is one the most beautiful & attractive places.state goverment should pay a special attention to make it as a tourist place,because it has many things to tell about it's history.world famous ustad bismillah khan hails from this holy palace.he used to play his sahnai infront of bihari jee ka mandir.there is also a navratna garh kila in new bhojpur,which adjoing village of dumraon.i would love to tell state gov that plz don't make delay.do somthing special that it could get it's real recognition
