  • Meenakshi Amman is a very powerful goddess. The temple contains five major raja gopuram(towers). This is a world famous temple and it participated vitally in the competition for selection of the 7 wonder of the world. This temple was really looks amazing Meenakshi Amman and lord Shiva has their own shrines. The goddess idol was made by Green Emerald (Maragatham) and hence scientifically the radiations from this goddess is more powerful and good for health.

  • I am sorry to say that the town surrounding the temple is very dirty and full of garbage. Some of the restaurants are also filthy. There is a big saree store near the temple, where the floors have not been mopped for months. Is cleanliness not part of our culture? Disappointed visitor
