One of the oldest schools and once up on a time, one of the very best. I am not too sure of the credibility now. However it should be good I guess.
This school has the distinction of having had the great Indian poet Subramania Bharathi as a teacher for sometime.

Studied in this school for 5 years from 8th standard to 12th standard - quality education, especially some well qualified teachers in science and mathematics. Not sure how the teaching quality is at this time however.

Some of the favorite spots near this school that many students enjoy are, Sugar Cane juice place in front of GPO, Anjaneyar temple in the tank street, Higginbothams book center and Pillayar temple in the corner of North and West Masi streets.

  • Studied between 1982 till 1989april from 6th to 12th. Great and lovable school. Still remember Ganesan sir my 6th teacher, chendooran sir my 9th std tamil ayya the very best tamil ayya. Who only taught and brought love for tamil. Seshadri sir, who made me score 99marks in 10th. Sekar sir's biology class. Still I love and cherish. I love my school.
