Site of former Minneopa train depot in the early 1900's. Minneopa Falls was a major tourist destination in the early part of the century, and the passenger depot was here for passengers to be dropped off for picnics at the falls.

Steamboats along the Minnesota River also used to drop off tourists to visit the falls.
