  • My advice if I was going to give advice would be, I do not recommend using the AAFES Auction site.
  • UNITED STATES ARMY ****HAPPY**** 237TH BIRTHDAY! HOOAH! GOD BLESS YOU ALL ABUNDANTLY & KEEP YOU ALL VERY SAFE NOW!
  • Why are military dependents with valid ID cards, required to have a different card to have base or post entry while working for AAFES?
  • i was accepted for employment with aafes on separate times but since i was still military i couldn't take the offer the first time but i did on the second time. i attended one of there job fair and i informed the person there that i was already in the system with my approve application for hire.. so i didn't need to remitted another application. the rep inform that it was best that i apply now while i am still active duty because they do not background checks on active duty personnel. so a month ago i started working at aafes ,said yes to working doing Thanksgiving Holiday. and that very next Monday i was call in the office and was told that i had 7 day to clear the aafes support system.. i ask, send emails ,made phone calls to speak with the GM to clear this misunderstanding up . so i finally got a call today from the HR person stating that they spoke with the store GM on two time about my issues and was only told that there decision for me to clear out of aafes was final .he didnt even give me the respect to sit down with me and hear what i had to say..below is a copy of the last email msg that i sent the HR: Good morning. . I had requested an appointment with the general manager yesterday and I am awaiting an reply back from you guys.. I think there have been a big misunderstanding about the background check .. I was told at the job fair when I applied for this position that i should apply now because they don't do background checks on active duty military. I stated to her that i had already been accepted before in March but was unable to start due to military duties. And my old application was already on file .. so the article 15 that I got in August wasn't on that application. And if I fill out something new ..then I was under the impression that the background check didnt apply to me.. I am sry for my misunderstanding in this issues.. I love my job at Aafes and I had request on both of the mission to deploy and help setup a new store and I was the person raise my hand to help threw the whole Thanksgiving weekend. I gave 21 yrs of my life with a security clearance the service of my country and received an honable retirement. All I am asking of Aafes is to let me continue my service to a greatful nation in servicing the troops as a veteran. Sincerely,
  • wow.....
  • The vendor located right outside to the main exchange at MacDill AFB Fla is selling ball caps and other stuff needs to be talked to. He is selling offensive ball caps making negative reference to Veterans! Hats that say "Vet off meds" and other degragatory comments concerning Veterans. There are about four or five different ball caps like this being displayed. Those hats have no place on a military base that has a high population of Veterans, retirees and active duty personnel. No humor seen in those ball caps! Should he elect not to remove them from his display, then we will forward written complaint to the Command at MAFB, the Commander of AAFES and local news media (i.e. tv and press). Also, will contact VFW and AFL. Such a insult to those who proudly served our Country! PULL THOSE HATS NOW. Remove the ones that are degrading Veterans!!!
  • They don't. My daughter is a military dependent with an official current ID card she worked at the food court in the BX.
  • I have a payroll Check the number of this check is 15982223 and it is dated 26 Feb 2010. My question is may I please have this check reissued to me. my name is Charles R. King. my address is 1120 Hwy 64 west, Beebe Ar 72012. the reason for this request is because I found this check that was hidden from me in a bag of mail that my Ex kept from me and I had opened it just last week. It really surprised me to see this check for that amt.
  • I worked in 1971 in Munich Germany for AAFES at McGraw Camp in the procurement office under Major Cantwell. A young girl from Australia it is an experience i will never forget. It has helped me all my working life. I am going to visit Texas in September 2017 and would love to visit AAFES headquarters and maybe find Major Cantwell. It was during the period of the Vietnam War and i met some rxtremely fine US servicemen and their families. AAFES left me with wonderful memories of course i am now middle aged if anyone can help i can be contacted clarafox1@optus.net thanks AAFES who gave a young aussie girl a job all those years ago Dianne Hughes and footnote i married an australian who served in Vietnam
  • The Manager of AAFES at Edwards Air Force Base California doesn't know what is doing. I lost my $90 purchase on gift cards, and I lost them. I went back immediately when I realized it (next day with my receipt ) to get some help, and they said that AAFES is a third party sellers. Why they sell this cards if they are not able to block, freeze or replace them with your receipt on hands? Attention Everyone! Horrible service! Never buy any type of gift cards with 3rd party vendors. Get them straight from the banks, restaurants or stores.
  • I live the fort Leonard wood px me and my wife went in Sunday. I was looking for rifle for upcoming deer season. No merchandise was displayed so I ask one the employees why. He says it was against the new GMs religious beliefs to sell weapons or ammo on Sunday. Can someone get to bottom of this because as of now the px will no recive any more of my business. I would rather pay a higher price than deal with them ever again
  • To Whom it may concern: I just called Military Star call center listed as 877-891-7827 at approximately 250pm Sacramento California local time, and ask for help with the website. The person that answered the phone named Raven spoke so fast I could not understand and I asked her to slow her speech down so I could understand her. I also ask her to spell her name. These two requests apparently set “her off” she began to treat me rudely, and ultimately transferred me to her supervisor, Jan, who was presumptuous, and at time rude, so she transferred me to a person named Shanon, who came on the phone with an attitude that was very obvious to me that they all talked and were convinced that I was the problem, therefore Shanon was able to get rid of her irritation by simply hanging up on me. In my mind Military Star has the worst reputation for customer service I have ever encountered. How sad, your employees are so ill trained to deal with customers who have the audacity to ask questions and then questions that have not been answered. I believe your organization could use more training in customer relations. If I had employees that treated customers with such poor attitudes, I remove the problem, employees, not the customers, like the Exchange.
  • I ordered a sectional couch and had it delivered on 20 Dec 2018. it was missing a part on the sectional to attach the leg to and I have been working through Exchange Contact Center and Marketing Plus to get the part on order with Ashley furniture and nobody at AAFES or the marketing plus seem care about my problem. I have called the Exchange contact center at least five times and the marketing plus idiots at least four times. This is getting very frustrating and I am very disappointed in the negligent service I am receiving from the Exchange. I have never been treated this badly in my entire career and it is very disappointing. nfosec1@yahoo.com
  • I actually worked in the Military Star department call center and was appalled by the way calls were mishandled. The call center is located in AAFES - HQ that is in a really rough, crime-ridden area, hence the poor customer service. The majority of the employees in the Military Star department are properly trained but simply don’t care about the sacrifices our Military Service Members make. Several employees work part-time in the evenings and full-time employees set a terrible example on bad behavior. Having worked in Customer Service for many years in various industries, this one was one of my favorites because I was given the opportunity to help our Military service members. Too bad the others didn’t understand this concept and just showed up for the most part, to get a paycheck. I’m originally from El Paso, Tx and it was quite a culture shock when I relocated to the Dallas area. Lack of customer service everywhere I went.
