While Tinker's host unit is the 72d Air Base Wing, which provides services and support for the OC-ALC and its tenant organizations, the base is also home to the U.S. Navy's Strategic Communications Wing One (STRATCOMWINGONE), which consists of three squadrons and a wing staff that employs over 1,300 active-duty sailors and 100 contractors to support the wing's E-6 Mercury TACAMO aircraft.
