Former warehouse from which all goods for the now defunct Hecht company were shipped from. The building, built in 1937 to a design by Abbott, Merkt & Co., is a notable D.C. example of Streamline Moderne architecture.

It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and was redeveloped in 2011 by Douglas Development.
