  • Thank you for your message. I am a chemiker and I was also employed in the cement laboratory, may be with your father. It was 1962/63. Unfortunatelly I have not the e-mail adress to the cement factory churk.
  • Dear Tomek, It is really surprizing that you still remember your early days in Churk. There is a bad news. The factory you worked with is closed for more than 14 years now. People simply dying without job, without food.There is a major policy shift and though there are a lots of resources still lying under the ground, there is no one to take care of all your dreams and hardwork you did for this factory. I am more interested in knowing what you are doing these days, how old are you now? My father joined this factory somewere in 1961 and now after retirement in 1993, he is enjoying his leisure days. I dont know the factory is using any email ID or not but I am very sure that if by any chance would you drop-in there, they never allow you to enter the factory premises and they never feel sorry for there stupid gestures.   • Dear Irfan, I am very glad to hear from anybody from the old Church cement factory and, may be, also from Churk as a smal village near to Robertsganj . We were in Churk cement factory as a czech specialist team 1962/1963 by erlarging of the old factory with two new kilns and other equipment. I'm sorry about the stopping of cement factory works where was a good job for many inhabitants from surrounding areas. At time I am 79 years old and I think back on the good times in Churk very often. I worked in the factory laboratory as chemie technologist with Mr. LAL and other workers. Attached you will find three photost from that time. You will find me in the group of laboratory team (photo 02). May be your father will remember on anybody from this group or from two next photos.   • This message box is too small to write about the days I spent in Churk.It's a history from 1962 to 1991.My father Mr.K.K.Agarwal(now in Lucknow)is living a happy life there with family and many of his friends belonging to this holy group of cement corporation(Churk,Dala and Chunar).I too miss all my friends,teachers and everyone there and have tried to collect the information about them.I shall write more if someone replies my mail.

  • Hello every body, I am sahil kumar working in jaypee cement plant ,churk(u.p) as an engineer. I don't know this is good or bad news for you all that this factory is sold out to a cement giant "JAYPEE GROUP" and now in process to run again.

  • Iam son of v.k.acharyulu . he worked in cement factory stores , library in churk... my father passed away recently... still his last breath he hoped the factory will reopened and he will work again there in Churk ... but it has not happened..by reading theese posts Iam very happy now that it is going to work again... iam now in andhrapradesh...we always remember churk , we born and brought up there ... always wants to go back..good luck

  • Hi I am Rahul Singh i was also spent my childhood time in Churk and i want to meet my friends which one passed 5th from Ramkrishna Paramhans Prathmik Pathshala Churk Shonbhadra In 1998-1999.i think that is my Golden period of my life and i would like to spent some more time. with the all Churk Civileance. who still live in my memory. i love that moments. i think i never forgot. if i get the chance to Punarjanm like that so i would be happy to again be live in churk.
