This village has a population of about 5000,Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%.It is located near "Kanchausi" railway line connecting Delhi and Calcutta. Here more than 50 % people are literacy Though there are most persons are service man. the education level of most of the people is not average. This small place has seen some golden times when it had flourishing business by some enterprenaurs. It used to attract many visitors. However with time things have deteriorated now.
