The newest unit of the Patoka River Wildlife Protection District.

Opening in May 2006, it is the main area for the nesting of the Least Terns. It is the eastermost nesting spot of least terns in North America. Disturbance of the level 1 endangered birds will get you a $50,000 fine or at least 5 years in prison.
