Kaldurg, with a height of 1,547 feet (471.526 meters) is a rained stronghold in the villages of Varkut and Navli about thirteen kilometers northeast of Mahim.The fort can easily identified from the Railway station towards east. Around 12kms via Nevlipada(2 km), Bhagola(3km) till top.
How to get there:
1) Board a Virar bound train early morning.
2) After alighting at Virar, board a Shuttle train and get down at Palghar.
3) From Palghar west, board a ST bus, which would take you to "Vaaghobaachi
Khind", the base camp and then 1&1/2 hour trek to the fort.
