The very old fort believed as old as Elephanta or Gharapuri caves. Established during Chalukya Royal family's ruling across Maharashtra exactly 2000 years back. The water tanks design and style shows its ancient marking, otherwise there is British made ruined Church can be find on the top. CISF is looking after this fort and have camp on it.

    The fort & church was built by the Portuguese. In fact there were two forts here. One in the village and one on top of the hill.
