Shahbeddin Imarethane Mosque (Plovdiv)

The mosque was built during the 1444-1445 while there was Sultan Murad II. by Shahbeddin Pasha the son of Rumelia Beylerbeyi Lala Shahin Pasha.
During the Sultan Bayezid II., the mosque was extended with yard, and became a imarethane which means charity foundation for poor people.The Imarethane Mosque was used till end of the 19th century.
Repudetly, investigators suppose one of the tombs in the mosque's cementery, belongs to Lala Pasha or His son, Shahbeddin Pasha.
