IF THIS IS ROBERT GARDEN(BAGH) THEN IT IS THE MEMORY OF 1878 BRITISH INVASION DURING 2nd ANGLO-AFGHAN WAR.GEN FREDRICK ROBERT COMMONDER OF KURRAM FIELD FORCE DEFEATED AFGHANS AT PEIWAR KOTAL AND HIS ARMY WAS ENCAMPED IN KURRAM.THERE WAS AGREEMENT BETWEEN HIM AS BRITISH COMMONDER AND THE TURI TRIBE TO DEFEND KURRAM AGAINST AFGHAN GOVT AND TO RECIPROCATE TURIES PROVIDED SAFE PASSEGE AND LOGESTICS TO HIS ARMY IN THE WAR AGAINST AFGHANS.TURIES BEING SHIAS WERE ALWAYS OPPRESSED BY AFGHAN RULERS.
ROBERT DECIDED TO MAKE PERMANENT HEADQUARTER AND STARTED TO BUILD GOVERNOR HOUSE HERE ALONG WITH GARDEN.THE WORK STARTED AND THE GARDEN PLANTATION DONE BUT BRITISH DECIDED TO VACATE KURRAM IN 1880 SO HIS PLANNIG REMAINED INCOMPLETE. THE GARDEN IS STILL FAMOUS WITH HIS NAME.
