Lafayette, Louisiana's main sports and entertainment venue. The Cajundome is home to Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns Basketball. The Cajundome also hosts concerts, motocross, monster truck shows, and wrestling events. Every May, the Cajundome is the site for all Lafayette Public School System high school graduations. The Cajundome also annually hosts the LHSAA High School Basketball Tournament.
Every spring, the parking lot host the Cajun Heartland State Fair. The CHSF is a large fair consisting of rides and a midway with carnival games and food stalls are located. There are also beer trucks and a bars located by a main stage, for musical performances.
