Spillers Millenium Mills (derelict) (London)

Founded by William Vernon and Sons in 1905. They later became part of Spillers Milling. Built in 1933, it was Europe’s largest flour mill at that time.
Used in the filming of Hamburger Hill, music videos, the Ashes to Ashes series and the soon to be released film Green Zone.
To be developed into luxury flats in the future, when Silvertown Quays development starts, which will include a new Aquarium.

  • I used to work at spillers millenium mill in the sixties and would like to know whout is going to happen to it. Crew Chief.
  • its going to be turned into 5000 flats from what Ive been told.
  • It's part of the development of the brownfield site that surrounds it. The development is going to be called Silver Town Quays, but the whole thing has gone on hold due to the recession.
